Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines
• Prepare meals and snacks for patients, taking into account individual dietary needs and restrictions
• Ensure accurate and timely meal delivery, maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Maintain accurate records of patient meals and snacks, including food intake and special requests
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and programs for patients and staff
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs and well-being of our patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Familiarity with dietary guidelines and food safety protocols
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent bending and standing
