Work you'll do As a Project - Lead Cloud Integrated Infrastructure Engineer II on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for: Leading the design, build, and sustainment of cloud infrastructure supporting financial business systems for government clientsOverseeing Linux-based environments and Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure to support performance, availability, and operational requirementsDirecting infrastructure updates, patching, and system maintenance activities in secure client environmentsLeading troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution of cloud and infrastructure production support incidentsCoordinating with client, engineering, and security stakeholders to support deployments, compliance activities, and infrastructure improvements A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes—is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of Linux administration experience3+ years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration experienceExperience leading infrastructure operations or engineering workstreamsActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearanceAbility to work onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, VirginiaMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred: Experience with Windows administrationExperience with Ansible or Python scriptingExperience with Oracle administrationExperience with MomentumExperience supporting security compliance requirements for government systemsExperience mentoring junior team members or providing technical oversight
